Do you offer private classes?

Can I bring my children?

This class is an adult class, intended to educate parents about homeschooling their children. I do suggest parents attend the class without children. I certainly understand that sometimes this is not possible. Children are welcome to be present during the class with the understanding that they must be quiet and unobtrusive and that their parents will be conscientious and respectful of the other families attending. I will happily allow you to attend another class or credit your payment toward a private class if it becomes apparent that the class is not a reasonable place for your child.

About the Class

Classes meet one time, generally a Monday or Thursday night from 7 – 9. Locations rotate around the front range. We discuss homeschool philosophy, Colorado homeschool law and Colorado homeschool resources. There is time for individual questions and specific concerns.

About Ann

Ann has been a dedicated parent educator for 10 years. She has taught birth classes, infant massage classes and facilitated a successful parenting group for the Parenting Place. Several of Ann’s articles have been published in Boulder County Kids. She has been teaching Homeschool 101 classes for 2 years. Ann encourages discussion in class and enjoys helping parents find an educational path that works for their family.

Cost

Homeschool 101 Classes cost $30 per family.

Group class?

Gather together and host 4 families in your homeschool group for a class and you take the class for free. Pick a date/time/location that works for you. Contact Ann regarding group homeschool classes.
