We have really enjoyed Saxon Math for Kindergarten. It is an easy to follow system and comes with a big box of various manipulatives needed for the lessons.
The way the curriculum is set out means your child takes tiny steps each lesson. It barely seems like they’re learning anything. But when I compare the later lessons to the earlier ones I can see how far we’ve come.
There is fair amount of repetition which can get tedious. We solved that by just picking out bits and pieces of the repetitive parts and focusing on those each lesson.
My child is always willing to drop everything to come do Math when she sees me pull this out. She definitely loves it too.
